Critical order of operations: Cancel your subscription before deleting your account. Deleting an account while an active subscription is running creates orphaned billing — you may continue to be charged without any account to log into. The correct procedure is cancel subscription first, then delete account. This guide covers both steps with exact navigation paths.

Step 1 — Cancel Your Subscription
Cancellation stops future billing charges. Your Premium access and DreamCoin allocation remain available until the current billing period ends.
Method A: In-App Cancellation
- Log in at ourdream.ai
- Click your profile icon (top right)
- Navigate to Account Settings or Subscription
- Select Cancel Subscription
- Confirm cancellation when prompted
Method B: App Store Cancellation
If you subscribed via Google Play or the App Store, cancel through the respective platform:
- Google Play: Google Play > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > OurDream AI > Cancel
- App Store: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Our dream: AI Companion > Cancel
Method C: Email Support
Contact [email protected] directly with your account email and cancellation request. Response time is typically 24–48 hours.
What happens after cancellation:
- Access continues until current billing period ends
- DreamCoins remain accessible until period ends
- No prorated refund is issued
- Billing stops completely at period end
Step 2 — Delete Your Account
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All data — characters, conversation history, DreamCoins, and account settings — is permanently removed.
Deletion Procedure
- Ensure subscription is already cancelled (Step 1)
- Log in at ourdream.ai
- Navigate to Profile > Settings > Danger Zone
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm with account password when prompted
- Account deletion is immediate and permanent
Warning: There is no account recovery option after deletion. The "Danger Zone" placement in settings is intentional — it is designed to prevent accidental deletion.
Important Warnings
Before proceeding with account deletion, verify:
- Subscription cancelled: Confirm subscription status shows cancelled or expired before deleting
- Use remaining DreamCoins: Any unused coins at the time of deletion are permanently lost
- Character data: All custom characters, backstories, and conversation history are permanently deleted — no export function exists
- Email address freed: After deletion, the email address can be used to create a new account if desired
- No recovery: OurDream AI support cannot restore deleted accounts

OurDream AI does not provide prorated refunds on subscription cancellations. When you cancel, billing stops at the next renewal date, but no partial refund is issued for the remaining days in your current billing period. Access and DreamCoins continue until the period ends. If you purchased an Annual plan, you retain access through the full 12 months regardless of when you cancel.
